Meet your guide at the Skanderbeg Square in Tirana and then travel to one of the most important cities in Albania, Gjirokaster. Also known as the “City of Stones”, is a rare well-preserved Ottoman town part of UNESCO World Heritage site. It will take you back in time with its vintage vibes full of unforgettable sights.
On your way to Gjirokastër you’ll meet Apollonia, an important archeological site of Albania. The tour guide will explain the history behind the temple of Artemis, the Odeon, the Triumphal Arch and more.

Lunch break in Apollonia’s local countryside restaurants.

After lunch, you’ll drive to Gjirokastër.
While visiting the old Bazaar with its cobblestone streets, you’ll get the chance to go through local artisan shops. The typical old houses are the jewel of the city itself. Zekate House, one of the biggest ones now open to the public carries a part of the history inside.
The highlight of the visit will for sure be the fortress of Argjiro.With outstanding views and a legend behind its name, Argjiro will leave you breathless.
